Being a busy entrepreneur, I rarely get time to thoroughly digest a good book. Recently, I haven’t even had time to post much. That’s where my brilliant find comes into play.
The Millionaire Fastlane animated by FlightMediocrity. You can checkout his video here: http://youtu.be/owHCppOQh44.
It discusses the main points made by MJ Demarco, and summarizes it perfectly. The video amply covers what Demarco calls the Sidewalk, the Slowlane, and the Fastlane.
To put it briefly, the Sidewalk is for those who work 9-5, weekend to weekend, hoping their 401k has enough for retirement by age 60. The Slowlane is those who invest their savings into a CD or mutual fund and earn 7% (ish) per year. The Fastlane however, is for those who read (and read a lot), develop fruitful business strategies and original concepts, and then retire while they can still walk and remember where they put their car keys.
But this description does no justice to Demarco’s work, let alone FM’s animation. I highly recommend you check it out!
